Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength ♥︎

I feel so blessed now (and I believe that I will still feel the same in the future) and I wake up feeling thankful everyday because I have the best of the best in the universe. My mum, my labrador retrievers, my boyfriend ♥︎

So thankful to have this man who woke up early in the morning and travelled all the way to my house just to bring my dogs out with me :') Mum also joined us because I wanted her to exercise.

♥︎
It was a pleasant and lovely morning with my loved ones :)

I can't wait for internship to end so I can bring them out more often, just like before! I end work at 6.30PM everyday so by the time I reach home, it is already 7.30PM and Zegna refuses to walk at night :( I would rather go to school now because sometimes school ends early and I can rush home to accompany my dogs.

Dogs > School Work
ANYTIME.

I had 爱心早餐 (breakfast filled with love) ♥︎ prepared by bf because I missed his egg with cheese and mayo sandwich. And I'm finally using the reusable ice cubes we bought from Disney World :D

Valentine's Day gift from my love! Hehe, I'm a fan of Disney (especially mickey & minnie and the princesses ♥︎)

One fine morning, I had breakfast with my fellow intern, Hung Ying, before going to the office. When we reached the office, our boss and intern supervisor wanted to have breakfast at Mcdonalds so we accompanied them. Internship has been awesome so far! Though I can't wait for it to end so I can spend more time with my loved ones during the one week holiday before school starts :( *reason stated above*

Sometimes my dogs just melt my heart ~
They look cuter in real life, hehe.
Just staring at my mum because she was talking to them.... Yes, my mum always does that.

It was an impromptu trip to Marina Bay Sands for high tea alone because I was too stressed up with exam revision.
It is a bad quality picture because the the lights in Marina Bay Sands lifts are too dim :/

I'm so glad that everything's over now! Internship is definitely more interesting than school, though the working hours is T.T (I'm not complaining because I'm very fortunate to work in a good firm with cozy environment and friendly people) :D

Tea break with Shannon and Yanxiu at Cupplets :)

The food was so-so only and it's definitely not worth the price. I would give 4/10 for the food but 9/10 for the decoration. It's vintage-inspired and pretty cosy. Because of limited space, there's limited seats. They probably need to do a lot more work on their recipes. Overall, it was still okay.

I will still go back to Cupplets when their standards improve. (Will still give them support because it is started up by our very own Ngee Ann alumni) *discount please!!*

I've changed my laptop from a Macbook Pro to a Macbook Air because my Pro's hard disk crashed! Yeah, all my fault for not taking care of my Pro in Year One :'(

Anyway, I'm taking good care of my Air now because my target is to use this Air for at least 5 years. It's my first time setting a target for my laptop so I'll see how long it can last.

My new wallpaper is Queen Elsa because I'm in love with freezing frozen :)

Batam (2D1N)

I was hesitant when mum asked me to accompany her to Batam because it was  a day after my Financial Management paper and two days before my Cost & Managerial Accounting paper and Final Theory Test :(

I decided to go anyway because my internship was going to start after my exam; I wanted to spend more time with my mum and I don't feel safe leaving her alone.
Moreover, it's just a 45 minutes ferry ride and I have my bf with me too :)

My aunt picked us up at Harbour Bay and we went to eat Nasi Padang for lunch. We didn't have lunch in Singapore because we had to rush down to Harbourfront after my relatives left the house. It was my first time eating Nasi Padang and it's sooooooooo gooooood!

After lunch, we went to Batam City Square Mall (BCS). It's the only mall my mum and I go to every time we are in Batam. That's because most of our trips to Batam are just 2D1N or sometimes just a day.

We went to my aunt's place to put our stuff down and took a rest for awhile before heading to my mum's childhood friend's place for her wedding anniversary dinner. It was a buffet style where she (and her helpers) prepared the food.

As I was having my period (It came early..... I hate travelling during this time of the month -.-), I don't like to stay in anyone's house so I pleaded my mum for us to stay in a (good) hotel for a night. I don't have high expectation of hotels in Indonesia but I just want a CLEAN BATHROOM and decent and comfortable place for me to stay :'(

Mum contacted one of her friends who owns the hotel and we checked into Hotel Utama.

☀︎ Good morning faces ☀︎

After having breakfast at the hotel, we visited some relatives before leaving for Singapore.

Mum wanted to takeaway some food from the restaurant so we went back to the same place for Nasi Padang again.

Attempting to make a straight line using our small eyes -_-

On the ferry back to Singapore!
Lesson learnt from this trip: When travelling with family/friends, always be kiasu and be the first few to board the ferry so you can sit together :)

Chinese New Year 2014

Chinese New Year ★ Reunion Dinner

Just the day before Chinese New Year, I did a last minute shopping at Somerst 313 and bought a red dress from Forever 21. The dress is simple and plain and it is not expensive. I was too lazy to check out other malls and all the nice dresses for Chinese New Year season were sold out :(

Anyway, I also decided that I should get a new handbag or wallet so I walked into Victoria's Secret..... and I saw a pretty pink wallet!!! I don't think it is really worth it but it was love at first sight so without any hesitation, I asked for a new wallet and bought it :D

*Addition to my Victoria's Secret collection!!*

I also brought some red packets home since my mum loves collecting pretty red packets!

We invited Hendy over for reunion dinner because he didn't fly back to Indonesia. Wish government & private schools would grant foreigners longer holiday to spend more time with their family so that Singaporeans can ride on the wave and get longer CNY holidays too!

♥ My babies ♥

Chinese New Year ★ Day 1

It's a mandatory routine that we visit my 2nd aunt's place every 1st and 2nd day of Chinese New Year.

As years pass by, especially ever since my grandpa passed away, the number of visitors at my aunt's house during CNY has also decreased :'(

♥ *.* ♥

Not sure whose phone is this but the quality of the picture sure sucks.

We played our childhood board games, did stupid forfeits, ate CNY snacks, watched TV and took pictures.

Watched a korean show (Miracle in Cell No.7) with my cousins. It's about how this mentally challenged man tried to do CPR on this dying girl who was raped by another man but the police accused him for raping and killing the girl!!!!!!!!! It's also a comedy show so I laughed and cried a lot :'(

I was so tired at the end of the day because we didn't do much. I hate growing up. There were so much fun during CNY when we were younger because we didn't have smartphones to distract us :(

Tried new app~~~

Chinese New Year ★ Day 2

I woke up early to eat the muah chee my mum made and waited for Hendy to come to my house to wish my mum & dad :)

The two lovely kids, Jiaying & En (my mum used to babysit them) arrived at our house at 12, just in time for the lion dance :D

Can't stand the poor image quality from my sister's phone...

★ Family picture ★

After watching the lion dance performance, we went to my uncle's place at Siglap for steamboat and snacks!

We also visited my grandaunt and granduncle at Potong Pasir!

The second last place to visit was another relative's house at Race Course Road :)

Finally, the last place to visit was my aunt's place. We went to my 2nd aunt's house again. I re explored the condo with Hendy and brought him to the swimming pool, playground, pond and basketball court because I spent most of my childhood there :')

I was too tired so I fell asleep in his arms for an hour before waking up for dinner at 9pm!
Love him so much I'm going crazy over him hehehehe~

In memory of my cousin who had to book in during CNY, so here is a picture with his campus superstar poster :)

Bird's nest from aunt!

Chinese New Year ★ Day 3

The third day of CNY was spent at my house. My sister invited her secondary school friends over and I invited two of my good friends in poly, Shannon & Yanxiu :) They are the first two friends (other than my bf) whom I invited over for CNY because I don't really like to be busy during the CNY period.

We played our childhood game like snake & ladder, etc :)

Yanxiu had to leave for chalet so they left just before the steamboat started. I ate with my cousin, aunts and bf. Yummy!!!!!!! Super shiok!!!!!!!!!

Zegna and Prada :D

With my baby girl in my kakak's room :D

I was barbecuing for my cousin who was in camp so my aunt can deliver it to him.

I need to rest now because my sinus is killing me! And I still have to study later :(

I hate sinus. I hate exams. I hate Cost & Managerial Accounting.
