Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength ♥︎

I feel so blessed now (and I believe that I will still feel the same in the future) and I wake up feeling thankful everyday because I have the best of the best in the universe. My mum, my labrador retrievers, my boyfriend ♥︎

So thankful to have this man who woke up early in the morning and travelled all the way to my house just to bring my dogs out with me :') Mum also joined us because I wanted her to exercise.

♥︎
It was a pleasant and lovely morning with my loved ones :)

I can't wait for internship to end so I can bring them out more often, just like before! I end work at 6.30PM everyday so by the time I reach home, it is already 7.30PM and Zegna refuses to walk at night :( I would rather go to school now because sometimes school ends early and I can rush home to accompany my dogs.

Dogs > School Work
ANYTIME.

I had 爱心早餐 (breakfast filled with love) ♥︎ prepared by bf because I missed his egg with cheese and mayo sandwich. And I'm finally using the reusable ice cubes we bought from Disney World :D

Valentine's Day gift from my love! Hehe, I'm a fan of Disney (especially mickey & minnie and the princesses ♥︎)

One fine morning, I had breakfast with my fellow intern, Hung Ying, before going to the office. When we reached the office, our boss and intern supervisor wanted to have breakfast at Mcdonalds so we accompanied them. Internship has been awesome so far! Though I can't wait for it to end so I can spend more time with my loved ones during the one week holiday before school starts :( *reason stated above*

Sometimes my dogs just melt my heart ~
They look cuter in real life, hehe.
Just staring at my mum because she was talking to them.... Yes, my mum always does that.

It was an impromptu trip to Marina Bay Sands for high tea alone because I was too stressed up with exam revision.
It is a bad quality picture because the the lights in Marina Bay Sands lifts are too dim :/

I'm so glad that everything's over now! Internship is definitely more interesting than school, though the working hours is T.T (I'm not complaining because I'm very fortunate to work in a good firm with cozy environment and friendly people) :D

Tea break with Shannon and Yanxiu at Cupplets :)

The food was so-so only and it's definitely not worth the price. I would give 4/10 for the food but 9/10 for the decoration. It's vintage-inspired and pretty cosy. Because of limited space, there's limited seats. They probably need to do a lot more work on their recipes. Overall, it was still okay.

I will still go back to Cupplets when their standards improve. (Will still give them support because it is started up by our very own Ngee Ann alumni) *discount please!!*

I've changed my laptop from a Macbook Pro to a Macbook Air because my Pro's hard disk crashed! Yeah, all my fault for not taking care of my Pro in Year One :'(

Anyway, I'm taking good care of my Air now because my target is to use this Air for at least 5 years. It's my first time setting a target for my laptop so I'll see how long it can last.

My new wallpaper is Queen Elsa because I'm in love with freezing frozen :)

Negative To Positive Situation :)

As marked on my planner, I was supposed to release a photo diary yesterday but I'm running a fever, my body temperature hits 38.1 degree celsius as at 4PM :(

Before I start ranting about my Final Theory Test (FTT), here are some snippets of what I have done for the past few weeks :)

The Club @ Marina Bay Sands // High tea buffet

Heading to the gym!

Met the bufflord/bro Hasfis at MBS Skypark because his dragon boat team was having an event at MBS! We asked the staff of the skypark to take pictures but all turned out blur/awkward. This is the best picture I could find and I had to sharpen & filter it to make it sharper and vivid!

It has been a very unfortunate week for me because.... oh wait, okay just two days.

Yesterday morning, I had training at Kallang River and I didn't bring my tights and cap as the sky was dark so I thought it might rain. When I started coxing, THE SCORCHING SUN CAME OUT -.- The only fortunate thing was that I used sunblock lotion. Sunblock lotion will not prevent us from being tanned so obviously, I've grown tanner. When I reached home, we had a guest from China. He drives bus 317 (the feeder bus in my estate). He just came back from China because SBS requested him to come back due to shortage of manpower.

I wanted to take a nap before my Final Theory Test (FTT) in the evening but it wouldn't be nice to sleep when there's a guest. After all, my mum always tells me that we should be polite and hospitable :)

OH AND MY ROOM IS SO MUCH BRIGHTER WITHOUT DRAWING THE CURTRAINS

I finally took a proper nap at 5PM and woke up at 5.45PM. Mum sent me to the driving centre before going to my aunt's place. As my mum is afraid that I would lose my IC, she made a copy with the word 'SPECIMEN' stamped on it. I used this IC specimen for E-trial and they allowed so I showed the invigilator my IC specimen. They insisted that I should produce the original IC.

Blame it on myself because I didn't check the website's FAQ before going for the test. I am responsible and I do not blame it on others. This is a lesson learnt. From now onwards, I will and must remember to check everything beforehand :)

*BE POSITIVE!!!*

I was angry a the invigilators and I went for a run from City Plaza to my aunt's place in Amber Gardens. It is a straight but not very long route! I felt good after perspiring! :D

~blur look~

The dinner served at my aunt's place were all Indonesian dishes! Indonesian cuisine is my second favorite cuisine, after Chinese cuisine :)

When I reached home, I showered and accompanied my dogs while waiting for my hair to dry. I was still feeling quite upset over the FTT issue and James cheered me up with all sorts of funny conversations and replies :D This proves that distance doesn't matter in relationship!

In the middle of the night, I couldn't stop coughing and it worsened to the extent that I almost got an asthma attack!!! I used the method of "inhaling twice and exhaling once" and it worked.

I JUST HAVE TO TALK ABOUT COMFORT DELGRO AGAIN.

Okay, but why can't they just be flexible and close one eye? I really dislike people who are inflexible. The IC specimen has my face on it?!?!?! Since this is how they work, I respect their working style and honesty but maybe because this is just the way I think so this comment is obviously biased. Okay, whatever :(

This morning, I took a cab down to Comfort Delgro Driving Centre and booked my FTT which will take place 2 to 3 months later! To make myself feel even better, I told myself that this is probably god's sign of giving me more time to study because I did a last minute revision for this test. And of course, I have planned what to do within the next few months but this have to remain confidential :(

THE WEATHER WAS SICK. Literally!!!!!!

It was so hot I could feel myself burning! I guess this is partly why I'm running a fever.

As I was already feeling unwell and was about to faint, I took a cab to Toa Payoh and threw all my previous semester's notes into the recycled bin opposite Toa Payoh Swimming Complex. I do this every semester and I highly encourage all of you and your friends to do that! Do as much as you can! I'm trying my best to make this world a better place :)

I took bus home and when I reached Serangoon Gardens, I almost vomited but I held back :(

The first thing I did when I reached home was to shower and rest! I didn't even take a proper nap!

And yes, here I am, blogging about what had happened :(

Last week, Buddy was being very clingy when I was watching Triumph In The Skies II :)

Not forgetting the princess who wanted to eat the french toast but I'm training her not to eat unless she gets my consent.

Marina Bay Sands Gym
I was back in the gym @ Marina Bay Sands again! The gym assistants and instructors still remember my name (Athena) and I think remembering guests names is very important in the service sector :)

I was feeling unwell after spending 20 minutes in the sauna and the staff gave me apple, bottled water and candy! They're so dedicated, nice, friendly and genuine :)

Meteor Garden
I was at my aunt's house for the weekly gathering and I watched Meteor Garden with my cousin. I was watching Meteor Garden II and she was watching Meteor Garden I. DAO MING SI ~~~~~ ♥.♥

The Phantom of the Opera ★

"Think of me, think of me fondly when we've said goodbye. Remember me once in a while, please promise me, you'll try. Then you'll find that once again you long to take your heart back and be free. If you'll ever find a moment, spare a thought for me."

After exams, the only thing I was looking forward to is THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA MUSICAL. After my last paper, I went home to prepare // collected the tickets at Marina Bay Sands // high tea with dad at the Skypark :)

I must thank my sec one music teacher for playing this film during one of the music lessons. I didn't know how to appreciate films like this so I didn't pay attention and took a nap in one corner LOL.

Few years ago, I was at TWG boutique and they played "Con Te Par Tiro"  by Andrea Bocelli and I started doing research on the song and downloaded it. There is an English version ("Time To Say Goodbye") sung by Sarah Brightman and Andrea himself :) Until now, it is one of my favorite song, though I don't understand the lyrics because it is in Italian.

This song somehow reminded me of The Phantom of the Opera's "Think Of Me" which is also sung by Sarah Brightman. Then, I decided to watch The Phantom of the Opera on Funshion and I have fallen in love with this film since then. I downloaded the songs on Youtube:

Last year, I was on a family trip to Las Vegas and we had free tickets to The Phantom of the Opera musical in Venetian Hotel because we stayed there. As we stayed in Las Vegas for only 4 days, the time spent in Las Vegas was very limited and my family is not interested in musicals so we went shopping/casino. I have to say, it is my BIGGEST REGRET in life :(

Just few months ago, I was told that The Phantom of The Opera musical casts would be here in SINGAPORE!!!!!!! I literally jumped out of my bed!!! I ran down to the living room, grabbed my laptop, switched it on and wanted to book the tickets but I realized the musical would be performed after my common tests :(

After common tests, I had to focus on my exams! -.-

I was facing another problem and that is I couldn't find people to go to the musical with me because most of my close friends told me they don't know how to appreciate it so I tried my luck on Whatsapp groups! Actually I was thinking if no one indicates their interest, then I would get the most expensive ticket and go there ALONE :(

THEN

Ashvari replied and she asked Chelsey if she's interested to go and yes yes yes I WAS SO EXCITED! :D

I booked the tickets during my study break and the seats were 90% occupied?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Here are some of the images from Google!

I wouldn't say the musical was awesome but it was good/definitely above average, though it didn't turn out to be what I had expected. I was impressed with the effects like how the boat would move on its own on a concrete floor (ok fine I just figured out that someone controlled it with a remote control or whatever WTF I'm so dumb) One of the reasons why I don't find the musical up to my expectation (in general) is probably because of the stage :(

The stage is so small. I mean, for a musical like this, they should have a bigger stage? I don't know but maybe this is Singapore and that's why LOLOLOL.

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the evening with the babes ♥

Mini updates on my first week of break :)

Baby Zegna having her afternoon nap ♥

Yummy Thai Milk Tea ice cream sis bought!!!

My cousin's dog, Prada does this to everyone. She loves belly rub!

Aunt bought at least 200 durians?!?!?!?! I had durian feasts for the past few days. Sigh, the amount of fats I've accumulated :(

Baby Buddy in my room....... My heart is melting ♥.♥

I accompanied my aunt to the hair salon and I love how she still keeps her atas hairstyle.

Back home to eat durians with mum and my babies wanted to join in but I'm quite strict about their diet so we stop giving them all the fattening food!

Resisting the temptations :(

James brought me to eat Katong Laksa at one of their franchises in Queensway and I was craving for it since then. It was my FIRST time eating Katong Laksa. Then I was craving for it so I pestered him to go eat it with me again but this time, at the original 328.

My babies sleeping in the same position. No DNA test needed, they are biological siblings ♥

Dedicated my first week of holiday to my dogs and I have spent the past one week with them at home :)
Not sure if I should work because I'm going for a 6 month internship next year and I want to enjoy as much as I can now!

I'm looking forward to internship but at the same time, I'm not. I'm confused, but it's okay because there's still a long way to go. To those who are having internship now, good luck and all the best! ★
